Frequently asked questions
Do attendees still hear the meeting normally?
Yes. The capture mutes nothing: the operator keeps hearing the meeting they are captioning.
Does it work on Mac?
Yes. On Mac the system asks once for screen-recording permission and the app needs a restart; after that it behaves exactly as on Windows.
Do I have to pick a specific window?
No. Going on air must not depend on finding a window in a grid, so there is no picker.
What about captions inside Zoom?
They can be pushed to Zoom’s native caption bar if the host supplies the token. It is an extra for whoever asks, not the main path: Zoom’s bar fits one language and each attendee’s phone fits fifty.
