How they did it

  1. The challenge

AOMA, the Avocado Oil Manufacturers Association, held the 1st International Avocado Oil Congress in Seville, with speakers in Spanish and English and an international audience.

  2. The set-up

The mixing desk output went into the computer running SCAPTION. The captions came out as a transparent NDI source in OBS, over the speakers’ presentations on the room screen.

  3. The result

Translated captions on the main screen and on a TV in the second room. Every attendee followed them on their phone, in their own language, by scanning a QR code.

We held a two-day congress in Seville, with speakers in Spanish and English. The translated captions appeared on the screen in the room, and every attendee followed them on their phone, in their own language.
