How they did it

  1. The challenge

    The OurNature Photo & Video Award, an international photography competition dedicated to nature, environmental awareness and sustainability, run by a nonprofit foundation, held its ceremony at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest. About 80% of it was in Hungarian, with guests from several countries.

  2. The set-up

    No receivers or headsets to hand out: a postcard with the QR code on every seat, and the same code on the big screen at the start. Guests scanned it and chose their language.

  3. The result

    International guests followed the ceremony on their phones. The organiser described the English translation as excellent.

Thanks to SCAPTION, our international guests could follow the Hungarian-language programme of the OurNature Award ceremony in their own language. It made a real difference to their experience compared to previous years.
